Man-hours become more or less productive?
Option A: AI might supercharge our output with far less effort, allowing employees to settle into a two-day work week and have ample free time for personal growth.
Option B: AI will enhance efficiencies by taking care of tedious tasks, freeing professionals to focus on creative thinking and strategic decisions. This growth will drive the market forward, rewarding professionals with a higher standard of living.
Option C: AI’s automation of human tasks could devalue labor, forcing us to work even harder than before just to maintain the same income, making our lives more stressful instead of easier.
Now, if you had to place a bet—which option do you think is most likely?
And if, like me, you think the less favorable outcome (Option C) is possible, would you also agree that the smart move is to act now?
It seems wise to work intensely while AI is still developing, to reduce the risks and capitalize on the positives. By incorporating AI early, we can improve our chances of eventually working fewer hours, with greater peace of mind, in the future.
