AI guides our every decision?

Recent polls reveal that most of Generation Z would prefer to lose a finger rather than lose their phone. If we’re prioritizing our devices over our own body parts, it’s easy to imagine how quickly we could become dependent on an AI companion guiding us through every decision.

We risk becoming paralyzed without AI’s guiding hand, helplessly addicted to the comfort of having the world’s most intelligent entity shape our destinies.

Making judgments without first consulting AI might soon feel scary and reckless. Our constant reliance could blur the line between our own thoughts and AI's suggestions, surrendering our autonomy and sense of self.

We must resist becoming unwitting prisoners, jailed by the convenience and comfort of technology. The day might come when “AI Detox” retreats emerge, promising a return to pure human decision-making—yet ironically, we’ll likely rely on AI to find and evaluate the best retreat options.

Expect the rise of AI decision coaches—not to help us make choices, but to teach us how to decide without AI’s crutch—a skill becoming as archaic as handwriting.
